TheModelFactory:Past events

Moved all local UmlCanvas diagrams to UmlCanvas 0.3 diagrams hosted on Hosted UmlCanvas. Press Alt-i on any diagram to open op the editor.

The first original TMF pattern has been added.
- Modelling Tooling Framework is the pattern used to design the Tooling Framework as described in the Modelling Tooling article.
Four more GoF patterns have been added:
Three articles have been added:
- Modelling Method about modelling methods and how they should be documented
- Modelling Quality what defines the quality in a model and how can it be maintained
- Modelling Tooling what is the use of custom tooling on top of a case tool, and how should it be realized.

Two more GoF patterns have been added
- Singleton
- Factory Method
UmlCanvas has had a decent polishing and cleanup, making the layout of diagrams easier and adding some new features. We expect the number of patterns and pages about modelling to start increasing rapidly now since UmlCanvas now has matured into a somewhat stable diagramming tool, covering most of our current class modeling needs.

After investing time on Canvas2D, UmlCanvas and of course ADL, we covered enough ground to create class diagrams with UmlCanvas and found time to post two GoF patterns
- Abstract factory
- Adapter

We've finished the first Pattern template, which is used on all Pattern pages.
The first set of stubs are created. Off course the honor went to the Design Patterns of the GoF. For now, they are all just the standard preload text of the Pattern template, but over the coming weeks we will focus on filling these out.
